Some Quick Feedback

I have used many of the tasks from the website and know that my department have also accessed it following my feedback from your course. In fact we are doing an INSET on Rich tasks which will largely feature activities from the site. (Paul Crossley – Redhill School, Notts)

We have had great fun with the ‘ Who stole the cup task?’ which I changed slightly to make it have a little more local interest setting it up as a Derby County v Forest game – including a powerpoint with Derby Chants/ Photo’s and news flashes to set the task up – its a good job our Head was in hospital with a broken leg at the time as he is a real Forest Fan!!! (Sandra Douglas – Heanor Gate School, Derbyshire)

We are currently in the process of re-writing our KS3 scheme of work and I was intending to use some of the tasks (the football stadium mystery and the algebra card sort in particular). It is a slow and challenging process, but the availability of this kind of resource is very much appreciated. (Janet Ingram – John Port School, Derbyshire)

I have shared your website with my department, who are slowly starting to make use of it. We have used the ‘in the pink’, ‘chocolate dilema’ and we are also making more use of the ‘nrich’ website to “rich it up!!”. We will be working on some tasks soon so we will hopefully be givers as well as takers. The students have enjoyed the tasks which has encouraged us to keep going down this track. (Dave Marsden – Bramcote Hills School, Nottinghamshire)
